These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of the Vertev Mobility website, mobile application, and services. By accessing or using Vertev Mobility’s services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. Definitions

“Company” refers to Vertev Mobility.
“User” / “You” refers to any individual using Vertev Mobility services.
“Vehicle” refers to electric two-wheelers or other EVs provided by Vertev Mobility.
“Services” include vehicle rental, subscription, rent-to-own, and related offerings.

2. Eligibility

2.1 You must be at least 18 years of age to use Vertev Mobility services.
2.2 You must possess a valid government-issued ID and a valid driving license.
2.3 Vertev Mobility reserves the right to refuse service if eligibility criteria are not met.

3. Account Registration

3.1 Users must create an account to access Vertev Mobility services.
3.2 You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
3.3 All activities performed through your account are your sole responsibility.
3.4 Vertev Mobility is not liable for unauthorized access resulting from user negligence.

4. Booking & Rental Terms

4.1 Vehicles must be booked through Vertev Mobility’s approved channels.
4.2 Rental duration begins at the time of vehicle handover and ends upon return.
4.3 Full payment must be completed before vehicle delivery or pickup.
4.4 A refundable security deposit may be required for certain services.

5. Vehicle Usage Guidelines

5.1 Vehicles must be used only for lawful purposes.
5.2 Stunts, racing, overloading, sub-leasing, or commercial misuse is strictly prohibited.
5.3 Only the registered user is permitted to operate the vehicle.
5.4 The user must comply with all traffic laws and safety regulations.

6. Charges & Payments

6.1 Rental charges, penalties, and fees are displayed at the time of booking.
6.2 Rental charges are non-refundable, except where explicitly stated.
6.3 Late returns may attract additional charges.
6.4 Any fines, challans, or penalties incurred during the rental period are the user’s responsibility.

7. Security Deposit & Refunds

7.1 Security deposits are refundable subject to vehicle inspection.
7.2 Deductions may apply for:

Physical damage
Missing accessories
Traffic fines
Late returns
7.3 Refund timelines are governed by Vertev Mobility’s Refund Policy.

8. Vehicle Condition & Inspection

8.1 Vehicles are handed over after basic inspection.
8.2 Users must return the vehicle in the same condition as received (normal wear and tear excluded).
8.3 Any damage identified post-return will be chargeable to the user.

9. Insurance & Liability

9.1 Vertev Mobility provides basic third-party insurance as per applicable law.
9.2 Insurance does not cover:

Negligent driving
Drunk driving
Unauthorized usage
9.3 The user is liable for damages not covered under insurance.
9.4 Vertev Mobility is not responsible for personal injury or third-party losses during usage.

10. Cancellations & Termination

10.1 Vertev Mobility may cancel bookings due to operational or safety reasons.
10.2 Vertev Mobility reserves the right to suspend or terminate services without notice if:

Terms are violated
Fraudulent activity is detected
Vehicles are misused

11. Intellectual Property

11.1 All content, logos, designs, and materials on the Vertev Mobility website/app are the property of Vertev Mobility.
11.2 Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution is prohibited.

12. Privacy

12.1 Vertev Mobility collects and processes user data in accordance with its Privacy Policy.
12.2 By using the services, you consent to such data collection and usage.

13. Limitation of Liability

13.1 Vertev Mobility shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
13.2 Vertev Mobility’s maximum liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the user for the relevant service.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Vertev Mobility, its employees, and partners from any claims, damages, or losses arising from misuse of services or violation of these Terms.

15. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

15.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
15.2 All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bihar.

16. Amendments

Vertev Mobility may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
